Passion

Being a ''Fashion Designer in the Making' is really hard because we are not in college yet and none of our parents used to sew very much, so we have to learn to do it by ourselves and we hate using patterns. It's a challenge because I can hardly get my sewing machine to start, turns out, the bobbin has to be locked in right in order to not totally destroy the fabric you are using, who knew? But I love it, I love it all. I learn so much from making clothes, for one I definitily had no patience before I began sewing and now I can tolerate my really annoying locker buddy. I also get to learn a great deal about failing, because it happens all of the time when you are designing a master peice. You just have to get back up every time you fall. I know that the fachion industry is very competative, but I am ready for anything. Who has time to be afraid? Not me.

There is most likely millions of different fashion terms so instead of telling them all to you page by page I will give you a link. If you are bored or have unlimited amount of time on your hands then you can read it all. I can tell you right now though that not even I have read them all so I am not expecting you to be Johnny on the spot.

Inspiration

Look around you. From people at the mall to models in magazines there is inspiration everywhere. From a storm of dark blue heels to baby blue flats, you don't always have to get your inspiration from people but from moods, weather or anything else that compels you. Be YOU!
