Inspiration

What Inspires you? Is it the weather outside, or something you see another person wearing? I don't have a lot of inspiration, I just kind of make things as I go. I don't see what's wrong with either of those, but my friends say I always have inspiration. They're wrong. I don't know where I would've gotten inspiration to make a hideously ugly pillow, thanks. What's wrong with winging it? Nothing.

Every Friday, I show off my creativity. I dress up as something different. I have had to come up with about 25 different "costumes". It may sound easy, but, trust me, it's not. I do not ever repeat an outfit. They sometimes might be a theme, or sometimes I actually am things. Some examples of some "costumes" are: A flamingo (hot pink shirt, shorts and leg warmers, white leggings, and a really big flamingo necklace(an actual thing)) and birds (bird shirt, big parrot earrings, a HUGE parrot necklace, and feathers in my hair(a theme)) You should try it, it's fun!!

I am getting some converse and don't know which ones to get. I am thinking on getting black just so it will match almost anything, but think it will be to boring. I can't wait because I have really been needing new shoes. But don't worry they're not for running. I have other shoes for soccer, track and cross country. I might get a cool lip for the converse but afraid they will cost a lot more. I'll tell you when I get them, trust me!!!

Fashion

Fashion isn't fashion unless your making a statement. The only reason people wear clothes is to show themselves to the world but without saying anything. For example, if someone is wearing Hollister then it is obvious that they either want to be the same as everyone else or they like to be a walking advertisement. One of the reasons I love designing and creating clothes is because when you cut off the sleeves of a shirt or stitch on mismatch buttons, you know that no one else in the world will have the same outfit every time you wear it. No one will look at you and say,"Oh, I have that same shirt!", they will say,"Wow, were did she get that shirt," or,"Whoa, here comes the train wreck!," But hopefully we don't wear anything that we turned in to a disaster.

Converse All Stars

Converse All Stars are back in style and I love them. They are expensive but in my opinion worth the money. I love the new Chuck Taylor converse. I made some of my own online but lost them after I left the computer. I won't deny converse are awesome but lately people have been using them as athletic shoes. Converse aren't made to run in or to play soccer or tennis. I think a lot of kids are going to mess up their feet. It takes a couple of days to break into converse. It isn't good to run around in them and get blisters. Converse are mainly for walking around in and looking great! So if you are planning on getting converse don't use them as athletic shoes.

The Fashion Industries

Today my sister told me that I couldn't be a fashion designer, that there was no point in wasting time on doing something that was impossible. Do you know what I told her? "Your the one wearing pajama pants to the video store and thinking that is okay!" Then she got mad and told my mom, who could care less. Morale of the story: Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. Do what you love till the day you retire, but don't forget to leave time for loved ones. As George Carlin once wrote,"We've added years to life but not life to years."
