Achille's Heel

I love the Alexander Mcqueen Fall Line 2010/2011, it is so incredible! Most of them I would never be able to walk in, but I still love the creativity and uniqueness of the line.

I love the godess feel of these two.

This one has amazing beading but the platform seems out of place.

Ouch.

Lauren Conrad

Since in the last post I talked about Lauren Conrad, I decided to show you some pictures of her and her awesome style (just some:). I love her hair because it looks so perfect yet careless. Her curls are close to perfect and I really want to know how she put together that perfect bun. Let me know what YOU think of Lauren Conrad! -M

Platform Sandals

Platforms sandals are back on the runway. BIG for spring this season. For me this is a good thing for my height, but I don't have the money to buy a really expensive pair.

These 7 for all man kind sandals are so cute. The only problem is the price. They are over $200! A teen like me doesn't have the money for these sandals.

LC (Lauren Conrad) Kohl's shoes are the best platform sandals I have found. I love Lauren Conrad's style. I even have her Style book (which by the way is a good book). These sandals are $55-65 which isn't bad, and they look pricier.
The pictures I have are not of bright platform sandals, but don't be afraid of bright sandals. They might be high and bright, but what is so bad about that?

About Burberry

Last night, I heard Angela Ahrendts talk about her company, Burberry. She spoke mostly about how technology affects the brand of the company. As you probably know, Burberry came out with a new website. What I most liked most about her presentation was the preview of what's to come at Burberry. I have a secret ... that was shared with just me (just kidding -- more like 600 other people). Beginning this summer, if you have the money, you can now customize your Burberry trench ... belts, zippers, lining, studs, buttons and collars. I love it! But for now you can go their Art of the Trench website to show how you wear yours.

Now, I want to talk about Angela, now that she's my best friend :) (I wish). She was born in Indiana and went to Ball State University, where I saw her. After college, she went to New York City and got her first job in the fashion industry working in a menswear department. Before taking going to Burberry, she worked at Liz Claiborne for seven years. She moved her family to London when she was approached by Burberry to take on the big job.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was her discussion of how important it is to know who you are so you know what you want to do in your life. She admitted she's not as creative as she is analytical and understands the fashion industry. She seems very focused. I liked her presence -- and her trench coat!

Maxi dress

I was not into maxi dresses before this season. I don't know why, but I have always pictured maxi dresses as solid colors (which some are). I think they look a lot better on everybody when they have some earthy pattern instead. These are some of the maxi dresses that I have liked the best when searching. Hope you like them!

This maxi dress is my favorite one I have seen. I love the color, and it would go great with my swim suit. The necklace of course adds a lot to the dress too though, so I don't know if I would like it as much without the necklace.

When choosing maxi dresses it is best not to get t0o big of prints. For this season, earth tones are best too. Wear the shoes you are going to wear with your maxi dress when shopping. If maxi dresses are not your thing, then don't get them. As always have your own style!

Floral Luv

Floral prints are the perfect way to get the springy feeling a little early. March 20th is the first day of spring, but who ever said that the calender should control how you dress?

This jacket is great for if you want to be floral and warm! Personally I would never wear this model's outfit, but I love it. This outfit has a maxi dress underneath, striped shirt, and the floral jacket.

This floral scarf would go perfectly with the striped shirt above. Still keeping warm, this scarf could really kick off your spring right. The scarf has nice colors to go with a lot of different outfits.

These jean shorts wouldn't go with most outfits, but I still love them to death. Even if they don't go with much they could really brighten up an outfit. You could put them with boots and a green, blue, or purple tee shirt and your day would go fine if you just didn't spill anything on the jeans!

Justin Bieber

When most girls think of Justin Bieber, they think super hot, purple, and future husband. Guys think girly voice and 'Why can't that be me!' Well let me just say one thing, most guys don't give away their birthday presents to a charity, raising more than $27,000!!!

Justin has his own "brand" as you could call it. He is know for his hair (even if he did cut it). If you have seen the movie Never Say Never, most of the girls talk about his hair and love him for his hair.Purple is his signature color (which he looks great in). When Justin Bieber turned 17, more than half of the girls in my school wore purple. It was crazy! My mom says he is like the younger Michael Jackson. People identify Justin Bieber by his color purple and his hair. These are part of his "brand." What is your brand? Whose "brand" do you like?

Dainty Ladies

Sheer fabrics, lace, fringe and frills are taking the fashion industry by storm. in just about every magazine photoshoot and runway there is at least one of those.
The draping on this mini dress is a little sad looking, but I really like the movment of it.

The fringe on the shoulders is so cool. This would keep me so entertained during math class.

I really like the top on this outfit. It is so drapey and sheer. Of course I'd wear a tank top under it but the picture is pretty.

I totally heart these shoes, and the shirt, and the whole outfit. The only thing wrong with the outfit is that you can't see enough of the bag she is carrying. I bet it is adorable!

Tribal Clans

I have really fallen in love with 'tribal' clothes. Especially gladiator sandals, but I guess those aren't really tribal. Last year, they were everywhere and I didn't like them that much, but now I do and I don't know why. It might be because I have a completely different sense of style, so of course I will love them.

These shoes are a little too plain for me. I got some really cute, and inexpensive, ones from Target. I haven't noticed before, but their clothes are actually pretty nice. We'll try to snap some pictures I really like the pattern and the silluette of this shirt. It's so bright, it makes me happy just looking at it! I have always wanted a charm necklace, but I've never actually seen one that I really like. I'm not sure if I would buy this, I would have to see it in person. I'm so picky. So simple, so cute.
This summer we are hunting down oversized bags and bright patterns.

Colors and Disappointment

Today, you could say neon is my favorite color. It randomly got really warm here so brights have made me so happy that I don't even care that it is so freakishly windy out that our house might pick up and blow away somewhere over the rainbow!
I love this Kate Spade ad. I've seen it in a few of my magazines and I love it so much that I couldn't resist putting on the blog.
I am falling in love with this picture. It is from Prada's 2011 spring line, this was the best picture I could find. I love the color. Prada has really disappointed me this season, all of the shirts are plain and stripped or they have some hideous banana pattern on them or the skirts. The shirts aren't even tucked in or anything they just hang on the model. The outfits make them look frumpy. The shoes are some of the worst I've seen, though. It's an adorable wedge sitting on top of a layer of canvas on top of rubber. They look like Sketcher's Shape-Ups.

Biker Babes

I am in search of the perfect faux leather jacket. I've found some on a bunch of online stores, but I'd prefer to try it on before I buy it. I have gone to two resale stores, but they didn't have any. So basically I'm looking for a great jacket at a steal. I'm even willing to settle for a jacket that looks like a biker jacket but not made of faux leather.

I really want a white one. This jacket is pretty cute, but the scarf and the pose sort of ruin it. I found it on AliExpress for $37 to $40. I really want it but I've been spending more on shipping and handling than I have on the actual clothes! It gets me pretty peeved. On the bright side, online prices are a lot better than instore prices.

I want one like this only in a different color, faux leather instead of real leather. And I would totally love it if I found one like this without the $3995 price tag.
