Fruitful

A lot of fruit clothing is on the racks this summer. That makes me very happy, but what to wear with them is the question. Do I want to put them with jeans or match them with some bright colors? I have found that both ways work, but it's summer, so why not take a chance with another bright color?

These are some of the fruit runway looks for this summer. I love Stella McCartney's dress on the left and Prada's banana shirt on the right the best.

The left is another Prada runway look, while the dress in the middle is Stella McCartney. To tell the truth, I don't know the designer of the dress on the right, but it has some cute pineapples!

This dress at H&M is so cute, but when I went to go get it at the store they didn't have it. They also have a bikini in the same print, but it just didn't work on me very well so I didn't get it. I like both pieces, but since H&M's is only $20, I think it is much more possible to get than Prada's shirt.

This pineapple shirt is even more basic than all the other fruit prints, but can give a great pop to an outfit!

Midi-skirts, cat-eye sunglasses, and geometric prints from the 50s and 70s have been making a comeback.

The print on the dress is more 50s. I really like this sundress, it is perfect for a barbecue or just anytime during the summer.

This skirt is also a 50s design. I love the thin brown belt and the pleat.

This 70s dress is so cute. The skirt is so full that it would flatter anyone, whether your hips are full or slim, this dress would do you justice.

This midi-skirt is so easy to throw on the morning and the pleat adds texture if you pair it with a basic top.

The pleat and vibrant color is perfect for summer.

Finally, Mary Kate has some sunglasses on that don't totally cover up her face. These cat-eyes are pretty toned down which is why I like them.

Dot that

Taylor Swift looks fashion forward in a tiny polka dotted bikini. I am not much of a fan of the high rise bottoms, because I think it would be very uncomfortable, but she looks great in the look. The oversize sunglasses and side braid make this a go to look in the summer.

Lauren Conrad takes the dramatic look with bright red lipstick and polka dot dress. The tiny black belt makes her waist look even smaller and her hair as always looks great.

This may not be your summer look, but when the weather gets cooler you can't go wrong with a sweater and polka dot dress. The belt brings the whole outfit together and the leggings make the dots pop.

Summer Whites

Summer's in and so is white! Not only does white help you stay cooler, but it's so easy wear.

I love this picture. The shirt is so breezy and light, perfect for a hot summer day.
This adorable dress is from NastyGirl. I love it.

White dresses are the easiest things to wear. You can easily make them colorful by wearing bright jewelry such as turquoise, or you can just wear it with plain flip-flop or Converse to dress it down.

H&M 2011 Lookbook

Here's a peek at H&M's 2011 Lookbook!

Supermodel Karlie Kloss tries something new. H&M's fall lookbook features some pretty sweet clothes with grunge and goth undertones. I love it.

These four above are from H&M's spring lookbook.

A photo from their summer lookbook.

I love every one of these. Now I want to go shopping!

Cinnci

We went to King's Island this past weekend! It rained so we only got to go on 3 rollercoasters. While in line, I began noticing how many girls were wearing booty shorts and tiny shirts. To tell the truthe, it kind of grossed us out; no one should have to see those things.

There was actually one girl that had a jacket zipped up half way with only a bra underneath. Horrifying.

BTW: If you go, you have to ride the Diamondback and the Firehawk! The best rollercoasters I've ever been on!

Bathing Suits

Polka dots, stripes, animal print, neon, flowers there is a choice for everyone. You don't even have to pick a pattern. I love this swim suit because it is sporty, but chic. The ruffles add so much to the suit. This suit may not need the ruffles, but the flowers are just so colorful and bright. Who isn't ready to go swimming? Now you don't need a bikini to look great this summer. One pieces work you just have to find the right one. I would not recommend busy one pieces with lots of flowers like the suit above, but spread out flowers. You can't go wrong with this classic black one piece. I would get a little hot in it, so a patterned bikini is almost as much as a classic.

Now that I have shown enough brunettes for one day (Just Kidding), I hope you can find the right swim suit. Remember, if you can't swim in it, it isn't a swim suit. You want your swim suit to be cute and reliable. It isn't fun when you have to fuss over a $20 bikini top your not going to wear next year.

Inspirations

I was thinking about this today:
You have a mountain of clothes on the floor. It's got denim, neon, Forever 21, H&M, American Apparel, stripes, turquoise and a bunch of other things. All that it is is a mass of fabric and thread. But dumbed down even more, it is a mountain of nothing. But when you pull out pieces, you turn them into a masterpiece, you turn them from nothing into something. People make clothes so that you can make art.

I realized I'm one of those people who finds herself wearing the same things every week. I've got clothes on, but all I'm really wearing is nothing.

I want to wake up in the morning and thing, " What painting will I be today." You should, too.

Here's some pictures I found that I really like.

These ones of the fashion show are from Rodarte from a while ago. Love them!

Not as Bad as You May Think

A single color pallette outfit is so easy to put together and perfect for a casual day. The trick to pull it off is that each piece needs to be a different shade. Light blue shirt, dark blue jeans, red or navy shoes is a pretty easy outfit to put together. You can do this with any color actually, just remember: Each piece must be a different shade!

The Royal Wedding

Kate and William married, I'm sure you already know.
I love this: Their full titles are now His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cambridge, Early Strathearn, Baron Carrickfergus, Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, Master of Arts and Her Royal Highness Princess Catherine Elizabeth, The Duchess of Cambridge.

She's so pretty. I love these two outfits she's wearing.

Her wedding dress is so gorgeous. I love lace, the bodice and the lace trim on the veil. I never knew how pretty long sleeved wedding dresses could be!

Okay, I have to point out the little girl in the corner! She looks so pouty. Well, while she's moping, the newly weds kiss for the first time since marriage.

Bye!
