Some people (even me for a while) think that (eww!) loafers those are men's shoes! Well, fashion alert! Women in men's clothes look great, and loafers are an easy way to pull menswear off. Katherine Hepburn is a great example of a woman wearing menswear. In the 1940's she broke all the fashion rules and is still remembered for it! She wore loose clothes and loafers instead of dresses and skirts. I'm not saying don't wear skirts and dresses (I couldn't do that), but don't be afraid of loafers and menswear. You don't have to go all out, just one or two items.

You can wear loafers with leggings or make them look like boots with high socks.
Loafers can be really easy to put into your style; anyone can wear them.
Brown and black are not the only colors for loafers. Don't be afraid of a pattern. Just make sure they go with your clothes before you splurge on them.
